Mechanical engineering with a practical, curious mindset.
My engineering education has taken me from aircraft and robotics to environmental monitoring and energy systems. The common thread is wanting to understand the system, make something tangible, and learn from the result.
I'm studying Mechanical Engineering & Management at McMaster, a five-year co-op program that combines the full mechanical engineering curriculum with a business core.
That combination has given me a broad engineering foundation while keeping me interested in the practical side of a project: how a design gets built, how information moves through a team, what constraints matter, and how a good technical idea becomes something people can actually use.
My recent work has included supporting turbofan engine production at Pratt & Whitney Canada, contributing to the McMaster Aerospace Team, and building projects involving robotics, sensors, environmental monitoring and transportation.
Beyond coursework and engineering teams, I've worked in STEM education and hands-on project environments. I also spend time rock climbing, which I appreciate for the same reason I like engineering: there is usually more than one way to solve the problem, and the next move becomes clearer once you understand the situation.
